Phalana Abbayi Phana Ammayi: The filming of Srinivas Avasarala's next directorial resumes in London

Srinivas Avasarala, the actor who has cemented his authority as a bankable performer for over a decade now, also proved his worth as a director with Oohalu Gusagusalade and Jyo Achyutananda. His long-delayed directorial, Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi, which was put behind the back-burner a couple of years ago, is back on floors with a new schedule currently being shot in London. The film stars Naga Shaurya (who has appeared in all Avasarala's films as a director) and Malavika Nair.

Phalana Abbayi Phana Ammayi's team is now filming across many scenic locations in London. Apart from the lead pair, many from the supporting cast too will be working with the team during the schedule. "We're happy to team up with such a talented cast, crew who've proved their worth in the past," the official statement of the producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Dasari Padmaja and co-producer Vivek Kuchibhotla read. The team has also released a few stills from the film's sets today.

Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair had earlier also worked on Nandini Reddy's hit film Kalyana Vaibhogame. Meanwhile, Phalana Abbayi Phana Ammayi is bankrolled by popular production house People Media Factory along with a new banner, Dasari Productions. Reportedly, the director has been very careful in letting any detail about the film out in public and is guarding it until the time is right to talk about it.

Another film of Naga Shaurya, Krishna Vrinda Vihari, which was to release for summer was indefinitely postponed for reasons best known to the makers. Malavika Nair's upcoming releases include Amazon Prime Video's anthology Modern Love Hyderabad and director Vikram K Kumar's Thank You.
