Pharma ending explained: Will Nivin Pauly's Vinod bring down the pharmaceutical company that harmed kids?

Nivin Pauly-starrer Pharma began streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium in multiple languages along with Malayalam on Friday (December 19). The eight episode web series, which is based on real-life incidents, poses the question of whether Nivin Pauly's character, KP Vinod be able to bring down RLX by the end. What is the plot of Nivin Pauly's Pharma?

Pharma follows the story of medical representative KP Vinod, who starts promoting a specific medication after a few initial difficult days. Vinod discovers that the medication is posing major health risks to patients, particularly children, despite its initial efficacy. After that, he is resolved to oppose corporations and reveal the wrongdoings of the pharmaceutical sector.

What happens in the climax of Pharma?

It is clear from the first four episodes that KP Vinod, played by Nivin Pauly, learns the truth about Kydoxin, the medication, and RLX, the company that made it. In order to obtain justice for the victims, including hundreds of children and their parents, he sets out to acquire proof in order to present their actions in court. A few others, including Dr. Janaki (played by Shruti Ramachandran) and Mashood (played by Safwan), were killed in this fight to expose the truth. 

Vinod, meantime, will not be crushed by these events; rather, they will motivate him to pursue justice even harder for the victims. While gathering proof against RLX's medications and testing them in several labs, he is able to send his wife and daughter to a safe location overseas. Despite RLX's attempts to delete all the evidence, Vinod eventually presents the truth in court with the assistance of Drs. Rajeev Rao and Vijay. In the end, it is also shown that Dr Vijay establishes a hospital in the name of his wife, Janaki, and Vinod takes over as CEO of the generic drug project Zaathi, which is run by Dr Rajeev Rao. Aravind, CEO of RLX, commits suicide after his company is shut down by the authorities.
