After several delays, the makers of the upcoming Malayalam online series Pharma have finally provided an update on its release. The show, which stars Nivin Pauly, will be available for streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium in multiple languages starting on December 19.

The web series will be accessible on the popular OTT platforms from 12 am on December 19. It has been confirmed that Pharma will also be streaming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, apart from Malayalam. The show, which was originally slated to debut in October, will also extensively emphasise the challenges faced by medical experts in the field in achieving their objectives and the methods they employ to do so. Trailer and cast details of Pharma
The trailer opens with K P Vinod, a young medical sales agent undergoing training from his supervisor. Vinod's inefficiency in this field is evident from his first inability to close business. Nevertheless, he overcomes this and is successful in selling KydoXin, a new medication. He quickly finds out from a doctor that this drug is hazardous and has caused life-altering issues to consumers. After that, the trailer shows Vinod fighting the pharmaceutical industry from doing further harm to patients.
The subject of whether we are truly cautious while purchasing medications in the same way that we are cautious about other essentials in our lives was raised in a recent teaser for Nivin's character, KP Vinod, a medical sales agent.
