The makers of Phone Bhoot have unveiled the first fun filled song from the film’s soundtrack. Titled Kinna Sona, the peppy Punjabi party number teases the fun ride in store for viewers, as Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar groove to the thumping beats, with a few quirky ghosts.

The music video for the song sees Siddhant and Ishaan in what seems to be a sprawling haunted mansion, where Katrina makes a sizzling entry in an all red ensemble. She makes her co-stars’ jaws drop with her flawless dance moves, and soon Siddhant and Ishaan join her as well. The trio are joined in their dance party by a few quirky background dancers, who look eerily similar to a number of ghosts from iconic horror films, including Annabelle and the Nun from the Conjuring films.

Kinna Sona is sung by Zahrah S. Khan and Tanishk Bagchi, and the track’s lyrics have been penned by the latter.

The film features Katrina essaying the role of a ghost for the first time in her career. During the trailer launch of the film in Mumbai, the actress had joked that if she really were a ghost, she would be the fun kind rather than the scary kind, and said that she would haunt Priyanka Chopra. Katrina revealed that the reason for her decision was so that she could figure out just how Priyanka was able to work as much as she does.

In addition to Katrina, Siddhant and Ishaan, the horror comedy film also features Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadha, Nidhi Bisht, Manu Rishi Chadha, Kedar Shankar, Manuj Sharma, Shrikant Verma and Surender Thakur in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Gurmmeet Singh from a script written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is produced under the banner of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.

Phone Bhoot will hit the silver screens on November 4, 2022.
