Siddhant Chaturvedi just divulged on his Instagram handle that his upcoming horror-comedy, Phone Bhoot, directed by Gurmeet Singh under the banner of Excel Entertainment, will release its trailer on October 10, 2022. The lead actors of the film include himself, Katrina Kaif, and Ishaan Khatter, alongside whom it is the actor's first time working. The announcement includes a quirky cast-focused video with an equally unusual BGM that fits the horror comedy genre perfectly.

The audience has been intrigued by this unfamiliar and unique combination of cast members, as the film has been the talk of the town for a while now, with occasional murmurs over how the horror element will play out and whether Katrina will be able to embody a ghost. Over the years, we have viewed Katrina in a vast myriad of roles, but none of which have teetered on such haunting fantastical ground. Phone Booth also marks the actor's first movie post-marriage to actor Vicky Kaushal, which took place in December 2021.

The three lead actors were also seen together on Koffee with Karan season 7, presenting the audience with a picture of them on screen together, yet no real glimpse of what their on-screen chemistry will be, which is why Siddhant's recent revelation of the trailer dropping on October 10 has the audience counting days and eagerly awaiting being able to garner a better idea of it.

The actor's notable films include Gehraiyan (2022) and Gully Boy (2019), and his upcoming releases besides Phone Bhoot are Yudhra (2022) and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan (2023)—where the actor will once again join Ananya Panday on screen.

Phone Bhoot, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, is produced by Excel Entertainment and headed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film will be a post-Diwali release and will hit the theatres on November 4.
