All American Horror Story (AHS) fans know three facts to be the fundamental truth - there is no substitute for Jessica Lange, Asylum is hands down the best season and Evan Peters’ performance as Tate Langdon is unforgettable. Leaked photos from the set of the AHS spin-off, Double Feature, have revealed that Peters is reprising his role as Langdon.

Ryan Murphy’s horror-anthology series began in 2011, with Murder House being the first season. The plot revolves around the Harmon family who moves into a haunted mansion. Tate Langdon, played by Peters, who befriends Violet Harmon and is the creator of troubles for the Harmon family, is revealed to be a pawn of Satan by the end of the series.

Though the series is laden with gore, violence and unearthly elements, AHS has gained a fan base which cannot wait to see what horrors Murphy is going to unleash in the next season. The only sneak peak that fans have gotten into the 10th season yet is Peter roaming the sets in Langdon’s signature look- a green and black striped shirt with jeans. In addition to this, fans were excited to learn that the first season’s location of the murder house might make an appearance in season 10, with Peters shooting in a house that resembles the former.

If the reported set leak is true, Peters will be reprising his role as Langdon for the second time in AHS. Langdon returned briefly in various scenes in season 8, answering important questions about his relationship with Violet.

Though it is unknown when Double Feature is set to release in 2021, Murphy has confirmed that AHS alums Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock and Frances Conry will return to the show. Nine seasons of AHS can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
