Now that IPL and General Election mayhem are over, serials are gradually getting their lost TRP back. News of several serials ending on Star Jalsha and Zee Bangla came in the last few days. The channels decided to end a serial if its TRP is low. In that scenario, how is the weekly TRP performance of the serials?
Phulki is again the TRP topper with a score of 7.0. Neem Phuler Modhu is the distant second. Srijan and Parna garnered only 6.4. The track of Parna losing her memory initially attracted the audience, but now became a bit boring.
Kotha is in the third position. It is now the saving grace of Star Jalsha. The fourth position is again retained by Zee Bangla. Jagaddhatri and Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche became the joint fourth with a score of 5.6. The Zee Bangla serials stream on Zee5 and you can watch them on OTTplay Premium.
Here is the list of the top ten.
1. Phulki–7.0
2. Neem Phuler Modhu–6.4
3. Kotha–5.9
4. Jagaddhatri/Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche–5.6
5. Geeta LLB–5.4
6. Anurager Choa–5.3
7. Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha–5.0
8. Roshnai–4.8
9. Bodhua–4.7
10. Uraan–4.6
Some of the serials are ending. Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, Kar Kache Koi Moner Kotha, and Astami are definitely ending. Still, Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha had a seventh position with a rating of 5.0. It even defeated Alor Kole and retained the slot. But Subho Bibaho, featuring Sonamoni Saha and Honey Bafna, is starting in this slot on June 17. Kar Kache Koi Moner Kotha got only 3.8. Astami scored lesser, 2.4
Roshnai recently started on Zee Bangla. It remained in the top ten in the last few weeks. It is in the eighth position this time, with a score of 4.8. Uraan is the tenth, gaining 4.6
