Physics Teacher Trailer: A tale of bonafide science and rationality that turns on its head to become a thriller

The trailer of 'Physics Teacher' was recently released digitally to a highly encouraging response. The film, directed by debutant Sumukha who also stars as the main lead, rose to prominence following its premiere at the latest edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival where it received a lot of praise for its intriguing narrative and execution. Physics Teacher will now make its way into cinema halls on May 27th.

As revealed by the trailer, the story follows Badri, a young and vibrant Physics teacher vastly passionate about science and research. The term "Nobel Prize" is heard as one of the passing dialogues in the story, suggesting that he is well on his way towards glory, and things look all the more cheerful when a fellow school teacher (played by Prerana Kambam) enters his life. When life seems picture-perfect, Badri's own mind begins to flirt with him with intriguing and suspenseful tricks that slowly begin to threaten his sanity. What's the distinction between real and unreal? And how much essence does rationality hold - many such conundrums begin to show up in his life to ultimately make for a promising and riveting thriller.

Physics Teacher also stars senior actors Rajesh Nataranga and Mandya Ramesh. The film has been produced by Passing Shots Films Pvt. Ltd. - Raghu Gyarahalli has handled the cinematography with Ajay Kumar serving as the editor. Skanda Subramanya has scored the music.

The recent BIFFES premiere of Physics Teacher saw many noteworthy individuals shower praise on the film. Popular film critic Manu Chakravarty, reportedly, was mighty impressed with the film's interesting premise and execution and lauded Sumukha for his wits. Cast member Rajesh Nataranga too praised the young actor-director and wished all the success to the film. Prerana Kambam, who had previously acted in the TV serial Ranganayaki, makes her silver screen return with the film.
