Alakh Pandey’s journey is inspirational to say the least. The Youtuber, who started his teaching videos under the name Physics Wallah and inspired thousands of students is also the founder and CEO of EdTech company, and his inspiring story will be chronicled in the upcoming mini series Physics Wallah.
The series is created by About Films and produced and directed by Abhishek Dhandharia; actor Shreedhar Dubey will be playing the title role in the show.
The story of Physics Wallah captures the journey of a young and bright teacher who intends to create an affordable and effective education system that can be availed by every student. However, in the process of achieving his goal, he deals with a lot of obstacles which include not only financial but other elements as well.
Though his entrepreneurial energy and vision were a constant driving force, the journey was tougher than one would imagine. This journey is one full of challenges in the form of monopolistic corporate giants and several internal battles, which will set an example of what an indomitable spirit can accomplish.
Alakh was born in Uttar Pradesh and after finishing his education in science, he started creating educational content on YouTube under the name of Physics Wallah in 2017, that offers insight and guidance to crack competitive exams like UPSC, JEE, and NEET among others. His videos are also motivational for students who find it hard to crack those exams and lose hope otherwise. Through his YouTube videos, he teaches physics to students between classes of 9 to 12, who are preparing for competitive exams. His practical approach and easy explanation of any theory became popular among students as they found it effective and helpful. The educational content creator has more than eight million subscribers.
The six-episode web series is all set to be released on Amazon miniTV and on Fire TV though the makers are yet to reveal the release date of the show. The teaser was unveiled on Wednesday.
