Pitchers season 2: Naveen Kasturia and Abhishek Banerjee announce the release date, and it's the most exciting news today

Remember Pitchers? Seven and a half years later, this show has finally gotten a second season! This time, Abhishek Banerjee's Bhati has grown over beer and given a new nickname to Naveen Kasturia's Naveen Bansal.

The makers of Pitchers 2 have announced the new season, along with the release date and platform. The show will start streaming on Zee5 this Christmas.

The pitchers (those who pitch) founded their tech start-up, Pragati. AI but that has grown too. Two and a half years later, things have changed, and we're here without Jitendra Kumar.

Jitu Maheshwari played the second lead on the show after Naveen. Whether he will have a surprise appearance on the show, remains to be seen.

Creator Arunabh Kumar returns as Yogi Pandey. Abhay Mahajan's Saurabh Mandal is back too.

The show introduces Ridhi Dogra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Sikhander Kher in roles that are still under wraps. Whether Maanvi Gagroo or Rajesh Sharma join the show from the original season, also remains to be seen.

Pitchers 2 will be available on OTT Play and Zee5 this Christmas. The makers will announce the exact release date of the show soon.
