Pixar is back with Lightyear: Here are five Pixar films that won the hearts of the audience

When one thinks of animated movies, Pixar often comes to the mind. The animation studio brought a wave of animated movies to the big screen along with Disney. And now, Pixar is here with its latest offering, Lightyear, which is all set to hit theaters on June 17. 

Buzz Lightyear has been an integral part of Toy Story, but now it's time to know - how, why, when, and where did this 'hero' begin his journey. Every hero has a beginning, Lightyear discovers Buzz's journey that transcends on a hostile planet 4.2 million lightyears from Earth. Finding his way back home turns into an adventure, thanks to his charming robot companion cat - Sox. Topping it all are some ruthless robots with mysterious agendas, who make the mission complicated and threatening. Chris Evans has lent his voice for this space ranger. Here's a look at five Pixar movies that hold a special place in the hearts of the audience. 

Inside Out: What if one could talk to the emotions running in their mind? Pixar made it happen in 'Inside Out.' The emotions- anger, fear, disgust, grief and joy- not only guided Riley Anderson in her journey but also helped viewers deal with emotional conflicts. While Riley struggled to adjust to a new environment after moving from Minnesota to San Francisco, the audience was reminded to uphold positivity to keep emotional turmoil at bay. Aesthetic animation, invention, and powerful motions make Inside Out a modern classic. 

Toy Story: Pixar's Toy Story lets you in on a journey of the toy's world led by two rival toys - Woody, an affable cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger. As Andy Davis, the owner of the toys, welcomes Buzz Lightyear into his life on his birthday, Woody fears losing his place. He leaves no stone unturned to make situations worse for Buzz. But things turn topsy-turvy when both Woody and Buzz get separated from Andy. The comically mismatched toys then undergo an adventure-filled mission. With Lightyear making its way to theaters, be ready to discover the story of Buzz Lightyear. 

The Incredibles: The Incredibles/ Bob Parr is the story of a superhero, who possesses superhuman strength and endurance. While Bob struggles with a monotonous job and his bulging belly, his family tries to adjust to normal life. Mr. Incredibles thirst for glory finally sees the light of the day when his family uncovers a dreadful plan, and they put together their strengths to fight the demon. 

Monsters: With Monsters. Inc, Pixar brings forth a tale that is equal parts funny, emotional and loving. The monster comedy centers on two monsters- James P Sullivan and his one-eyed partner Mike Wazowski, who works at a company that generates power by scaring children. But tables turn when Sulley unintentionally allows a young girl into Monstropolis. This new 'human' addition changes it all for Sulley and his pal Mike. 

Finding Nemo: Finding Nemo tells the story of an overprotective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal blue tang named Dory, searches for his missing son Nemo. Finding Nemo takes viewers through this enthralling journey of Marlin (clown fish) and Nemo. While Marlin is aware of the unpredictability of the ocean, Nemo is enthusiastic to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Trouble begins when Nemo is taken far from his safe anemone home to a dentist's fish tank, and Marlin must become a super dad to rescue his son.
