In the film's conclusion, Elio however realises that the Earth is his true home and returns with his concerned aunt, having found a new confidence and sense of belonging. The story concludes with Elio having found a new sense of connection and purpose both in space and on the Earth.

Avatar-fame Zoe Saldana gave voice for Elio's aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly gave his voice for Elio's alien friend Glordon, Brandon Moon voiced for the alien ambassador Helix, Brad Garrett voiced form alien Lord Grigon, Matthias Schweighöfer and Ana de la Reguera voiced form another alien ambassadors Tegmen and Turais in the animated film.
