JioHotstar, which has been releasing some long-format series like Uppu Puli Kaaram and Heart Beat, has announced a new series called Police Police. The new special is set to stream from September 19 on JioHotstar. Users of OTTplay Premium subscription can watch the series using their existing plan.

The upcoming JioHotstar special Tamil series Police Police, has got its premiere date. The long-format series will begin streaming from September 19 onwards, on the streaming platform and OTTplay Premium. As the title reveals, the series will surround around cop characters, and stars Mirchi Senthil and Jayaseelan Thangavel playing the lead characters Raja and Murali respectively. The series will also have Shabana Shahjahan as Lalithambika, an honest spirited lawyer.
In a new promo released, Lalithambika mistakes Murali for a thief, while the latter plays along. As the duo end up at the police station where Murali works, the promo ends on a fun twist as Murali fakes an injury to make Lalithambika feel sorry for him and a playful spark is teased between the two. The series is expected to be a mix of action, humour, and romance.
