The glimpse starts with a bus entering a temple town whose residents experience a series of eerie incidents. You’re later introduced to various characters - archeologist, sorcerer, a villager, a woman in a bus and a cop. The focus shifts to Satyam Rajesh, a subplot around black magic and the deeper mysteries behind it. When woman, in a conversation with an elderly man, asks ‘isn’t it wrong to kill?’ the latter responds, ‘we’re only sacrificing him.’

The stunning cinematography by Kushedar Ramesh Reddy and the music score by Gyaani contribute to the spine-chilling ambience of the film. At the teaser launch event held yesterday, the director Anil shared that he was inspired to write the film during the lockdown and added the film will touch upon an aspect related to Padmanabha Swamy Temple as well. “The film will have several twists and the dialogues will be raw,” he added.

Polimera 2 was largely filmed in Paderu, Kerala and Uttarakhand. Satyam Rajesh is confident that the sequel will be loved by audiences and said he’d delivered a natural performance in the film, putting on ten kilos for his look. Sri Vaara is the editor and Upendra Reddy Chanda is the art director. Ram Master choreographed the action sequences.
