Pombalai Orumai OTT release date: When and where to watch Vipin Atley’s film

Pombalai Orumai, the Malayalam social drama film directed by Vipin Atley, originally hit the theatre in 2024. The movie, which features Shreeshma Chandran and Jitheesh Parameshwar in the lead roles, earned positive reviews from the critics, but went largely unnoticed by the masses. Pombalai Orumai originally had its OTT release on Saina Play, earlier in 2024. After a long wait, the movie is now gearing up to make its streaming debut on Manorama Max.

As per the latest updates, Pombalai Orumai is all set make its OTT debut on the popular streaming platform Manorama Max, on January 10, 2025. “Vipin Atley directed thriller movie 'Pompalai Unamai' is coming on January 10th on Manorama Max. The film is jointly penned by Vipin Atley and Jini. K,” reads the recent social media post of the platform. Pombalai Orumai: Plot, cast, and all you need to know

The Vipin Atley directorial is set in the backdrop of a rural area in Kerala, and revolves around a Junior Health Inspector named Ancy Mol from Ernakulam, who is transferred to this rural locality, during the COVID-19 pandemic period. She meets Sunitha, a tailor who has been the subject of an investigation, who seeks Ancymol's help as a last resort. With Ancy Mol and her friends’ help, Sunitha sets off on a journey to uncover the mysteries behind her case.

Pombalai Orumai features Sreeshma Chandran, Jitheesh Parameshwar, Shilpa Anil, Twinkle Joby, Vidya Rani, Archa Lakshmi, Dhanisha Surendran, Amrutha Babu, Babitha Basheer, Jishnu Thilak, Sivan Megha, Mosappan Palarivattom, Liya Antony, Jose Maliekkal, Maithrayan, Trincy Mambra, and Jagadeesh Sankaran in the key roles. Sirajudheen Sainudheen is the director of photography. Syam Ramesh composed the songs, and Ninnoy Varghese composed the original score. Gopakumar Nambiar handled the editing.
