Ponniyin Selvan 2 box office prediction: Will Mani Ratnam's film surpass the previous part's collection? Let's find out

The second instalment of Mani Ratnam’s historical drama franchise, Ponniyin Selvan 2, is set to be released in theatres on April 28, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Even while the first movie was a huge smash in most places, there were certain places where it underwhelmed. Despite having a huge star cast, the movie failed to make a good collection at the box office collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Ponniyin Selvan 2 stars Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Shobhita Dhulipala and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. In the film, Arulmozhi Varman will continue his journey to become Rajaraja I, the greatest ruler of the historic Chola Empire of South India.
