Pooja Hegde called the film a 'mature love story'.
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde have teamed up for Radhe Shyam which is an out-and-out love story. The film marks their first outing on screen and is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. According to the earlier announcement, the film was set for a July 2021 release, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been postponed. Moreover, in a recent interaction, Pooja also revealed that a few days of filming are also left.
The actor told IANS, "We are almost towards the end. We have around a week or 10 days worth of shoot left and then we will wrap. Once shutters open and things are good to go, the producers will decide when they want to release it I guess."
When asked about her role Pooja said that she cannot talking about it right now but when Radhe Shyam is closer to release. She called it a very mature love story and added that it's quite interesting to see Prabhas do a romantic film after so much action."
Hegde added that even for herself as she has not done a proper love story in a long time thus she is very excited.
Meanwhile, Pooja is awaiting the release of Most Eligible Bachelor in which she is paired opposite Akhil Akkineni. In the film directed by Bhaskar, she plays the role of a stand-up comedian. The film has been unable to get a release date due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Recently, Pooja was roped in to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in Acharya. The film also features Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
Talking about her Bollywood outing, Pooja has Rohit Shetty's Cirkus alongside Ranveer Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film shoot was kickstarted in the pandemic and is the remake of Angoor.
