Pookie, the Tamil romantic comedy drama which released in theatres a couple of weeks ago, has already locked its OTT partner. We had reported earlier that Pookie will stream on ZEE5. Now, the release date has also been confirmed and will be out on March 13.

Pookie is a romantic comedy drama about two youngsters, Kailash and Aazhi, who are in a relationship. However, the film begins with an instance of their break-up that happens publicly on the road. After the duo part ways, Aazhi and Kailash do their best to divert themselves, and try all methods, from spirituality to binge eating. The rest of the story is about if the couple found success in moving on or found their ways back to each other.

The cast of Pookie is led by Ajay Dhishan, nephew of Vijay Antony. The upcoming actor had shared screen space with the latter in the 2025 crime drama Maargan. RK Dhanusha plays the female lead.
