For a long time now, Malayalam cinema has had a heavy influence on Telugu cinema as multiple films have been remade in Telugu over the years. Multiple actors from the Malayalam industry have forayed into Telugu cinema and next in line is the super talented actress Darshana Rajendran who is known for her films Virus, Irul, Hridayam, and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey to name a few.

Well, she is all set to make her Telugu entry with a women-oriented flick based on travel and will be directed by Praveen Kandregula, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed film Cinema Bandi. What's special is that popular Telugu/Malayalam actress, Anupama Parameswaran is also playing a key role in this film which makes things even more special.

The pre-production of the film is almost complete and we have come to know that the social drama will go on floors next month. Darshana has a key role in the film and gave her nod right away when she listened to the script narrated by Praveen just a few days back. The said film will be made on a very low budget and is experimental in genre as per the news. Sangeetha of Khadgam fame is also doing a key role in the film.

Just a few months back, Malayalam actor, Shine Tom Chacko made his debut in Nani's Dasara and he is now signing back to back films in Telugu. We need to see what kind of an impact Darshana creates in the Telugu film industry. Her film, Hridayam was a solid hit in Telugu states. Though it was not dubbed, the youth gave the Malayalam version a rousing welcome. Now the stage is set for her Telugu entry and we cannot wait for it.
