Popular villain Devaraj made a mark in many hit Telugu, Kannada, Tamil films over the decades. Now, his son Pranam Devaraj is all set to test waters as an actor with a film titled Vairam. The Kannada-Telugu bilingual, directed by Sai Shivam Jampana, is jointly produced by Shri Bhramarambika Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy Pictures and Samskruthi Productions along with Sarthak Pictures.

The teaser of Vairam, presented by Yuvans Naidu, was launched earlier today in the presence of Devaraj, Chandra Devaraj, popular actors Benarjee, Kasi Viswanath and others. The action-packed glimpse offers a peek into the entertainer where Pranam in an intense avatar confronts a series of baddies. The makers manage to keep the plot under wraps and pique your curiosity.

Vinnu Maddipati, Monal, Garuda Ram, Kasi Viswanath, Shatru, Chammak Chandra, Bhadram play other key roles in Vairam. Devaraj at the event said he’s confident that audiences would appreciate his son’s foray into cinema. “I really liked the story of Vairam. The Kannada version of the teaser is a hit with audiences already. I’m sure this will be a box office success,” he added.

Director Sai Shivan Jampana shared his excitement about launching Devaraj’s son into films and called Garuda Ram, a promising talent. Pranam, while thanking the producer and the director for giving him an opportunity and credit his parents for helping him come this far. Co-producer Aripirala Kalyan Shastri, Vinnu Maddipati, Kasi Viswanath wished the team of Vairam ahead of its release.

Mahathi Swara Sagar composed the music for the film which has cinematography by Samala Bhaskar and is edited by Ajay M Kumar. Mass Madha, Ram Shankar choreographed the stunts while Babu Khan is the art director.
