Pori Moni shoots in Kolkata and THIS is what she’s enjoying the most

The shooting of the film Felu Bakshi has started. Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni will debut in Tollywood with this film. She will act with Soham Chakraborty and Madhumita Sarcar. Pori Moni came to the look test on Thursday with her son Padma. 

Why did she choose the character Labanya as her first role in Tollywood? The actress replied, “From when I read the character, I was confident that I could portray her aptly. Now the audience will tell how good I did.” 

The director Debraj Sinha said, “Felu Bakshi is a thriller where Soham plays the protagonist. He is a funny character who is tech-savvy and keeps himself updated with the newest technology. He is also a foodie. Felu is a detective, and clearly, the legendary character Feluda has his influence on him. However, I would ask not to reach any conclusion just by hearing the name. You have to watch the film to get the fun of the screenplay.”

The mystery centers around Pori Moni’s characters. She has to stay in Kolkata for a few days, and she feels enthusiastic about that. Which food does she prefer the most here? She replied, “Rasagullah.” How much does Padma enjoy? Pori Moni said he is also enjoying it a lot here because he has new friends and is playing with them.

There are some films jointly produced by India and Bangladesh. They are being released in both countries, but are not being blockbusters. Pori Moni thinks that there is a lack of communication. She thinks that it is a collective failure that a well-made product could not be marketed. She also said that she would try her best for the film Felu Bakshi. 

Madhumita Sarcar plays a radio jockey, Debjani. Sataf Figar and Srijit Ayushman Sarkar are playing two other important roles. Sudipta Majumdar of Vinci Da fame will be the DoP. Aditi Basu and Amlan Chakraborty will be the composers. The film will be released after Puja. It is produced by Medianext Entertainment and Himani Films.
