Post controversy with Karan Kundrra, Riva Arora admits she isn’t 12 and will reveal her age soon

Riva Arora, who was in controversy for her video with Karan Kundrra, has now opened up on her age. She was called out for not being 12. The actor confirmed that she indeed isn’t 12 and will reveal her age soon.

Riva told Indian Express that she never focuses on criticism. When asked her actual age, Riva laughed and said, “That will be revealed soon. But all I can say is that I am not 12.”

Riva’s mother had previously confirmed that she isn’t 12. After the controversy began, the momma took to social media to clear the air.

Apart from Karan Kundrra, the viewers threw shade at Riva Arora for her video with Mika Singh. She was called out for trying to romance the two, who are much older than her.

The actress, who was the little girl in Vicky Kaushal’s Uri (2019 release), was last seen in Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali. She says the film played a major role in her life.

Riva took up the film after she and her mother went through the narration. “I don’t think it’s any more taboo to talk about these things with your parents. I am very close to my mother and discuss everything under the sun with her,” the actress said, adding that she and her mother are like best friends. Riva also revealed that her mother has told her to discuss boyfriend issues.

Despite her controversy, Riva is leading quite a normal life as a teenager. On sets, though, people treat her as an actor and not a child.

The actress is happy to get all kind of roles and not only be seen as a child or young actor. While content creation is a part of her life, Riva wants to be an actor. She is yet to announce her next project.
