Pousali Banerjee goes to police station, sings to get released

Pousali Banerjee was parked in a police station. And finally got freed after singing songs for the cops. In a recent video that she posted on her social media and elaborated on an event that took place in Maldah. She sang, “Amar Haat Bandhibi Pa Bandhibi.” She posted the video and wrote, “They took me to the police station and discharged me after listening to my song.” 

When the media contacted the singer, she laughed about the incident and said that it was a sweet thing to have happened in her life. 

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Pousali said that Menaka, the SI of Maldah, is her diehard fan. Wherever she goes to perform in Maldah, Menaka meets her. This time, she went to Gajole to perform, but the event did not take place due to rain. Menaka was there and asked Posali to come to the police station since all of the cops there loved her song. She therefore went to the police station and sang. Everyone was silently listening. Pousali said that this was a rare experience. 

Pousali is currently busy with her upcoming album. It will be released next year.
