This movie became accessible on the platform from 12 am on September 11 in Malayalam with English subtitles. Following its Cannes Film Festival premiere last year, Poyyamozhi—which did not have a theatrical release—became well-known. The movie was chosen to win two accolades at the Cannes 7th Art Awards- Best Director and Best Cinematography. Sudhi Anna has helmed this film, which also stars Nathaniel Madathil and Meenakshi Anoop in pivotal roles.
In the film, Nathaniel Madathil plays Jason, who is led through a jungle by Poyyamozhi, performed by Jaffar Idukki. The hunter-prey relationship is depicted in the movie, and the voyage ultimately becomes a hunter-prey chase. Vinod Illampilly handled the film's cinematography, while Sarath Chandran wrote the screenplay and dialogue. Bijibal composed the soundtrack, and Akhil Prakash handled the editing of the movie.
