Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema and is currently working on multiple films. For the first time in his career, he is venturing into the horror-comedy genre under the direction of Maruthi Dasari. The shooting for this film is taking place at Ramoji Film City on a specially constructed set.

As previously reported by OTTplay, the filming is expected to wrap up by the end of November. Now, we have another exclusive update regarding the teaser of The Raja Saab. According to a source close to the team, the teaser is set to release on December 24, 2024, as a Christmas special.
By then, most of the shooting will have been completed. Post-production work is already underway at a brisk pace. Being a horror-comedy, the film involves extensive VFX, handled by some of India’s leading studios.
The Raja Saab cast and crew details
Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal star as the female leads in this film, which is being produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. Prabhas will play dual roles, and one of his looks, featuring him in an aged avatar, was recently unveiled to widespread acclaim.
The film promises ample comedy, as Maruthi is known for his entertaining films that have shaped the careers of many actors. Additionally, the first single from the film is expected to be released during Sankranthi 2025. Following this, the trailer will be launched in March, with the film scheduled to hit theaters on April 10, 2025, as a summer special.
The Raja Saab is being made on a massive budget of ₹450 crore and will be released in multiple languages. Meanwhile, Prabhas is also working on another film, Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
