Pradeep Ranganathan’s upcoming film has been titled Dragon. The project will be helmed by director Ashwath Marimuthu, who has previously helmed Oh My Kadavule.

We had earlier reported that actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan is set to feature in the upcoming Tamil film directed by filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu. The makers on Sunday unveiled the title of the film. The project is now called Dragon.
Prodution house AGS Entertainment, which is currently backing the much-expected Vijay-starrer The Goat, had announced that it will back Pradeep Ranganathan’s next film. The film has now gotten a title and it is called Dragon. The project will be helmed by director Ashwath Marimuthu, who has previously helmed Oh My Kadavule.
Archana Kalpathi serves as the creative producer of the film. It will be produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi Ganesh and Kalpathi Suresh. The makers have not yet announced the details about the rest of the cast members of Dragon. Leon James will score the music for the film, which will be edited by Pradeep E Ragav. Niketh Bommi will crank the camera.
More details on the film are expected as Dragon enters the production phase. Dragon will mark the first collaboration of Pradeep and Ashwath. Earlier it was speculated that Dragon is a script that was first narrated to Silambarasan. However, the director clarified that it was a different script.
Ashwath Marimuthu has earlier made romantic comedy drama Oh My Kadavule, featuring actors Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh. After the film was commercially successful, he remade it in Telugu as Ori Devuda featuring Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar.
It is to be noted that Pradeep himself is a filmmaker who made hi debut with Jayam Ravi-starrer Comali. After the film became a hit, he went on to adapt his short film into a feature film titled Love Today and starred in the lead as well. Currently, Pradeep is working with director Vignesh Shivan in LIC (Love Insurance Corporation) with actors Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah and Yogi Babu.
