Writer-director Pradeep K. Sastry's Made in Bengaluru captures the many vibrant facets of the city's startup culture and in a unique attempt to promote the film, the team has collaborated with a prominent virtual reality enterprise. The world of Made in Bengaluru, including the characters, is now part of the metaverse with Interality, an engine for mixed reality (AR & VR) worlds, offering users a chance to traverse and experience this exciting space.

Speaking about the collaboration, Pradeep K. Sastry says, "It's great when you find an avenue like this because it allows us to think big for our promotions, even though it is part of the virtual world. You will find huge posters, massive banners of Made in Bengaluru on the metaverse but if you were to pull off the same in the real world, you would need to spend a lot of money. But with virtual reality, we can conceive our promotions in a grand manner and even stretch our imagination."
Made in Bengaluru, Sastry's maiden project, follows Suhas (Madhusudhan Govind), a young man who gives up his plush job in pursuit of his own startup venture. The film takes us through the many aspects of this journey - the trials, the tribulations, the romances, the setbacks, etc. - with Bengaluru serving as the most glorious backdrop. Pradeep Sastry describes his film as an urban adventure, adding that as much as the story is about Suhas and friends' one-of-a-kind journey, it also comes as a celebration of Bengaluru's undying, unsung spirit which nurtures every dreamer and aspirant as its own. "It's an ode to the motherly nature of our Bengaluru," he says.
Along with a young cast that includes Madhusudan Govind, Puneet, Vamshidar, and Himanshi Varma, Made in Bengaluru also features veteran actors Anant Nag, Sai Kumar, Prakash Belawadi, Ramesh Bhat, Sudha Belawadi, and others. Balakrishna B.S. serves as the producer, Bajarang Konatham as the cinematographer with the duo of Shanth Kumar & Prashanth Nayaka editing the film. Ashwin P.K. is the music composer.
