Pradhan actress Soumitrisha Kundu: Devda's dedication mesmerises me

Team Pradhan finally bade goodbye to North Bengal after the shooting schedule and came back to Kolkata. Dev, Soumitrisha Kundu, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Soham Chakraborty, Koneenica Banerjee, Biswanath Basu, Kanchan Mullick, and others were there and kept their fans updated about the shooting moods through social media. Directed by Avijit Sen, the film is set to release in December 2023.

Actress Soumitrisha is extremely happy with her first tryst on the big screen. She is all set to debut on the big screen opposite Dev this year. For the last two years, she was known as Mithai to Bengali people. She got her first-ever film offer as soon as Mithai ended. Soumitrisha was busy with the shooting with the team. How was her experience working with Dev?

Soumitrisha plays Dev's wife in the film Pradhan. Their fans clicked some photos of their shooting in North Bengal. The team came back to Kolkata. 

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Soumitrisha said, “Everyone says Devda is a superb actor. But truly speaking, I rarely saw such a person. He has a career of 17 years and so many superhero movies. But his dedication mesmerises me. He has the same energy in the set. I am learning many things and knowing what professionalism is. There are many senior actors and they are helping me to ease my work. There are some differences between giving a shot for a serial and giving a shot for a movie. I am learning the differences.” 

Besides Kolkata, there is a possibility of an outdoor shooting again. However, this is not final. Dev is now busy with the promotion of his film Bagha Jatin, to be released on October 19.
