PremiumPradhan beats Kabuliwala at box office: Reports
A report by Tollywood Times says that Pradhan did a business of five crores in three weeks. In fact, it is performing well in the fourth week as well.

Bengal is showing a tough competition between two Bengali films, Pradhan and Kabuliwala, both released during Christmas. Both were star-studded and produced by big houses. The results show that Pradhan beat Kabuliwala in terms of business.
Pradhan was directed by Avijit Sen and produced by Atanu Roychoudhury and features Dev, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Anirban Chakrabarti, and others. Dev, Atanu, and Avijit previously delivered hits like Tonic and Projapati. Soumitrisha Kundu, famous for playing Mithai on television, debuted on the big screen as Dev's heroine. Pradhan was star-studded with Mamata Shankar, Kanchan Mullich, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and other big names.
A report by Tollywood Times says that Pradhan did a business of five crores in three weeks. It is performing well in the fourth week as well. Pradhan got 168 shows in the first week, 220 shows in the second week, 227 shows in the third week, and 161 shows in the fourth week.
The first week earned Rs 1.90 crores and the good reviews by word of mouth raised it to Rs 2.20 crores in the second week. However, it came down to Rs 90 lakhs in the third week.
Kabuliwala, an SVF production, also did well. Mithun Chakraborty's acting was critically acclaimed. Kabuliwala has reportedly earned around Rs 2 crores after the second week, whereas the number for pradhan after the second week was around Rs 4.10 crores.
