Pradhan shooting affected as Dev is down with a fever

Dev became unwell on the first day of the shooting of the film Pradhan. Dev told this in an Instagram post. He wrote in an Instagram story, “This is the first day of the shooting. And I am having a fever.” 

According to sources, a number of blood tests, including Dengue, malaria, were conducted. The reports were yet to come. Dev is taking a break from the shooting schedule.

Dev and Soham went to Chalsa on Wednesday with the majority of the film's crew. Soumitrisha Kundu aka Mithai also joined them. Paran Bandyopadhyay reached Dooars on Thursday, early in the morning. The shooting of Dev and Soham is starting today.

It was heard that the majority of the shooting will be in North Bengal. Director Avijit Sen chose a hilly area at the demand of the story. Producer Atanu Roychoudhury also joined the team and shared the news of the first day of shooting. 

Dev stunned the audience a few days back wearing a police uniform. His name in the film is Deepak Pradhan. He is playing a muscular daredevil cop. He went through a rigorous exercise to play the role. Soham Chakraborty also did gym training for the last one month. 

The story demands a hilly backdrop. But the director and the producer refused to say any more about the story. Dev lost weight for this film. The actor and Soham will appear together in front of the camera after eight years. The team will shoot at different places in North Bengal for 19 days. Sabitri Chattopadhyay will join the team at the last phase of the shooting. She will play a special character.
