Pradhan: Soumitrisha goes for a haircut to prepare for her role

Mithai has come to an end for quite some time now. Actress Soumitra Kundu took a break for a few months. The shooting of her first film Pradhan will start shooting at the end of August. She will be paired with Dev in this film. She is also preparing rigorously for her first project.

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Soumitrisha said, “After my previous serial, Mithai, ended, I received offers for quite a few serials. But this time, I received calls for Telugu and Tamil serials. Maybe they have seen me after the remake of Mithai. I couldn’t do those two shows as it would require time. Giving dates was difficult for me. Due to my current work in the theater, I also didn’t take up those two shows.”

Currently, she has immersed herself in new work. She has changed her hairstyle and received appreciation from everyone. Did cutting her hair upset the actress? Soumitra said, “Yes, initially, it felt bad. It was a bit disappointing. But that’s temporary. It's just hair, and it will grow back.” Her shooting for the film will begin in the last week of August. In this movie, apart from Dev and Soumitra, actor Soham Chakraborty will also be seen in an important role.
