Three of the 5 songs from Challenging Star Darshan’s upcoming film The Devil are in the public domain, released in the run-up to the film’s theatrical outing. The first song, Idre Nemdiyaag Irbek, was followed by a romantic number, Onde Ondu Sala and then came Alohomora. Each of the three songs had varying levels of response with fans, with Alohomora, for instance, receiving quite a few brickbats as well from fans. While the songs boast great views, none have really caught on fire on social media and gone viral. The film has two more songs, which the team may or may not reveal before the theatrical release.

Prakash Veer: Very satisfied with Ajaneesh's work for The Devil

At the film’s first media interaction recently, Ajaneesh was conspicuously absent, which, director-producer Prakash Veer said was because he was still working on the score. The question that then came up was if Prakash was happy with the output from the composer so far. “I fight with Ajaneesh every now and then, but that is about deadlines. I am very satisfied with the work he’s done for the film so far. In fact, no matter how irritated I maybe when he misses a deadline, the minute we get together and I hear what he’s done and how well it works for the film, all is forgotten and forgiven,” the filmmaker said on the sidelines of the event.

Ajaneesh, who is fresh off the success of the Kantara Chapter 1 soundtrack, has two major Kannada projects to round up the year. He is also working on Kiccha Sudeep’s Mark, which is releasing on December 25. The composer is said to be juggling both The Devil and Mark simultaneously. The Devil, meanwhile, will be in theatres on December 11, with the trailer set to be revealed on December 5.
