Less than a week after its theatrical release, the team of Bond Ravi has already dropped the full video of one of its hit songs. A little while ago, the romantic number Sahaja Sundari, which has been sung by Kannada cinema’s favourite, Sonu Nigam, came online. Bond Ravi is a Mano Murthy musical, so, fans have been eagerly looking forward to his melodies. What makes the song even better, beside the music by Mano Murthy and Sonu’s vocals, are the lyrics by Jayant Kaikini. Sahaja Sundari sees lead actor Pramod romance Kajal Kunder.

Bond Ravi, meanwhile, is Pramod’s most massy avatar to date. In the title role, the actor played a jailbird who’s been serving a politician’s sentence as his proxy. What happens when he gets to leave prison and tries to leave his shady past behind to start afresh with his lady love forms the crux of the story. The film opened to positive reviews, but the box office numbers are not commensurate.

Meanwhile, Pramod, whose outing in last year’s Rathnan Prapancha worked wonders for him career wise, is currently basking in the fact that he bagged a pivotal role in KGF maker Prashant Neel’s next Salaar. The actor has been tight-lipped about his character, but let slip that most of his scenes are with lead actor Prabhas. That apart, Pramod will also been in the romantic comedy Alankara Vidyarthi and an out-and-out commercial action entertainer called English Manja. There’s also an untitled travel film with Pruthvi Ambaar, in which Pramod is paired with Love Mocktail 2 fame Rachel David.

At some point, the actor is also expected to begin work on Premiere Padmini 2. The team of the film had run the script by leading man Jaggesh, who had okayed the subject, but not committed on a start date.
