After the success of Hridayam, director Vineeth Sreenivasan will reportedly once again join hands with Pranav Mohanlal for his next movie, according to latest reports. The film, which is set to go on floors by August 2023, will also apparently have Dhyan Sreenivasan as part of the cast.

The upcoming movie, which will also be scripted by Vineeth, will mark Pranav’s next venture after Hridayam, which had him in the lead, according to a report in Kerala Kaumudi. Though Pranav had made his debut with Jeethu Joseph’s Aadi and did Arun Gopy’s Irupathionnaam Noottaandu, it’s his performance in Vineeth’s coming-of-age drama that won him a lot of appreciation.

Incidentally, the upcoming movie will also mark the second time that Vineeth will be directing a movie with his brother Dhyan. The latter had made his acting debut with Thira, a decade ago. Dhyan is reportedly set to shed weight for his character in the film and will begin his physical transformation as soon as he completes shooting for SN Swamy’s upcoming directorial.

Vineeth, however, is yet to officially confirm the project. The filmmaker didn’t respond when OTTplay reached out to him to know if he is indeed teaming up with both Pranav and Dhyan. Rumours also suggest that the upcoming movie could be bankrolled by the producers of Hridayam.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Vineeth did however tell us that there was no truth in him planning the movie first with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. “I go to actors with a bound script. I have never bounced off just an idea to an actor. Only when I have written the script, I have enough material to convince them. As of now, I haven’t had any discussions with Dulquer,” he said, earlier this year ahead of the release of Thankam.

Meanwhile, Vineeth was recently seen in Corona Papers in a cameo role as well as Ganesh Raj’s Pookkaalam. The actor-director’s next release will be Kurukkan, which will see him sharing screen space with dad Sreenivasan and Shine Tom Chacko.
