Pranav Mohanlal said Yes to Varshangalkku Shesham after the first-half narration, reveals Vineeth Sreenivasan

Pranav Mohanlal, the star kid-turned-actor is extremely choosy about the films he picks. After the massive success of the 2022-released coming-of-age drama Hridayam, Pranav has reunited with actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan for his next outing Varshangalkku Shesham. The much-awaited project, which features the young actor as one of the protagonists, is set to hit the theatres on April 11, 2024. In a recent interview, director Vineeth opened up about convincing Pranav to play the lead role in the upcoming project and made some interesting revelations.

According to Vineeth Sreenivasan, Pranav Mohanlal said Yes to Varshangalkku Shesham, immediately after the first-half narration. Interestingly, the young actor, who is very particular about choosing the projects, didn’t even wait for director Vineeth to complete the entire narration, to say Yes to the film. Immediately after the filmmaker finished narrating the first half of the film, Pranav asked him when he should start the preparations for his part, confirming that he was all set to be a part of the ambitious project.

Pranav’s homework for Varshangalkku Shesham

Interestingly, Vineeth Sreenivasan revealed that Pranav Mohanlal is an actor who strongly believes in preparing for a role thoroughly, before starting the filming process. The Hridayam actor makes sure that he learns the script of his film by heart, before shooting. This is mainly because the actor grew up outside Kerala, he is not fluent in Malayalam. So, he mostly translates his scripts into English and learns them, to do justice to his part. Pranav has also learned a special skill set for the film with the guidance of a coach. However, director Vineeth refrained from revealing more about the same.

Pranav is not a troublemaker on sets

Earlier, while answering the fans’ questions on Instagram, Vineeth Sreenivasan had revealed Pranav Mohanlal is not a troublemaker on sets. A netizen dropped a comment on a recent Instagram post of the celebrated director, asking if Pranav Mohanlal is a troublemaker on the sets. However, Vineeth Sreenivasan, who noticed the follower’s comment, replied: “He is a delight to work with :)” Well, the recent interviews also suggest that the actor-director duo have clearly developed a great friendship, while working together.
