Pranav Mohanlal’s Hridayam gets official trailer release ahead of Disney+ Hotstar release

Pranav Mohanlal’s romantic drama, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, is one of the big winners of the year already, following its theatrical success. Now the movie will get a new trailer ahead of its release on Disney+ Hotstar. 

DisneyPlus Hotstar Malayalam on Twitter, shared a post today, that confirmed that a trailer for Hridayam will be released later today, at 6 pm. “Welcomes you all to the Official Trailer release of Hridayam on @DisneyplusHSMal at 6 PM today”, said the Twitter post. 

The movie, which is making its big OTT entry following its theatrical success, is set to start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on February 18. Considering the success and fanfare the movie received following its release on January 21, the movie is expected to do well on OTT as well. 

Written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Hridayam is a coming of age drama with Pranav Mohanlal, Darshana Rajendran and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead. The movie also features Aswathlal , Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony, Aju Varghese, Arun Kurian and Annu Antony among others in supporting roles. 

The movie follows Arun Neelakandan, a college fresher who has moved to Chennai to attend his classes. Telling the hero’s story of love, heartbreak and family, the movie also scored big with its music. With Hesham Abdul Wahab as music director, the songs from the movie have also been made available on audio cassettes by the makers. 

Sreenivasan's fifth movie as director, Hridayam was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The director previously helmed Malarvaadi Arts Club, Thattathin Marayathu, Thira, and Jacobinte Swargarajyam.
