Prasanna’s comment on Mammootty’s pics from Agent shoot in Budapest wins over fans

Malayalam megastar Mammootty is not usually the kind to share photos from his shoot days. But ahead of the OTT release of his recent Telugu action-thriller Agent, the actor shared a few snaps from the movie’s schedule in Hungary.

Mammootty had shot a few action scenes for the Surender Reddy directorial, featuring Akhil Akkineni in the lead, in Budapest in late 2021. The actor shared three stylish pics in various poses at the Liberty Bridge along with the caption, “Once upon a time in Budapest.”

Fans and celebs were quick to comment on the photos, with many once again praising the superstar for staying young and vibrant. Though several actors including Saiju Kurup, Lukman Avaran, Ramesh Pisharody and RJ Mithun added to the glowing remarks in the comment section, it was Tamil actor Prasanna’s praise that won over the fans the most.

Prasanna, wrote in Malayalam, “Oru raksha ila,” hailing the megastar’s look in the snaps. Fans replied to his comment, asking if he knew Malayalam and even wondered if he was a Malayali. Tamil fans immediately offered clarification, saying that just because he said something in Malayalam doesn’t make him a Malayali. The actor made his Malayalam debut in 2019 with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Brother’s Day.

His wife and actress Sneha was recently seen sharing space with Mammootty in director B Unnikrishnan’s Christopher. Prasanna, meanwhile, will also be seen in Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming gangster-actioner King of Kotha , in which he is touted to be playing the role of a Malayali police officer.

Meanwhile, Mammootty, who is currently shooting for Deeno Dennis’ Bazooka with Gautham Vasudev Menon and Shine Tom Chacko, is expected to take a short break and head to the US this week. The actor has already completed the shoot of Jeo Baby’s Kaathal: The Core, also starring Jyothika, and Kannur Squad, which is directed by cinematographer Roby Raj Varghese.

Agent, in which he plays a RAW chief, is set to release on Sony LIV on June 23. It can also be streamed on OTTplay Premium.
