‘Prem Kahaani Se Pehle...’: Karan Johar drops an interesting UPDATE ahead of Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh starrer’s release

In exactly one month and 18 days, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh-starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will hit the theatres. Knowing this, it can be evidently observed that movie buffs can’t keep calm. Every alternate day, these two celebrities, trend on various social media handles. Many of them are curious to know when the teaser of the film will be dropped.

Some of the reports suggest that the teaser of the upcoming film will be released later this month. Ahead of the release of the film and its teaser, filmmaker Karan Johar has dropped an interesting update about the romantic drama.

Taking to Instagram, Johar dropped a selfie of himself and captioned: “Prem Kahaani se pehle... bacchon ki duty sar aankhon par.” Karan Johar embraced fatherhood in 2017 and welcomed Yash and Roohi, via surrogacy. 

About Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

This upcoming romantic drama is directed by Karan Johar. This film marks comeback of the ace filmmaker in the Indian film industry after a gap of seven years. His last directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).

Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the film features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt in crucial roles. While it is yet unknown what the storyline of the film will be, the makers of the film dropped posters of the film on May 25.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of the film captioned the posters as, “Meet the Randhawas and the Chatterjees - the two families of this 'kahaani'! The power of family will decide the fate of love. Come, be a part of it all & more with #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, in cinemas on 28th July 2023.”

While Ranveer Singh will belong to the Randhawa’s family, Alia Bhatt will hold a close connect with the Chatterjee’s family. The movie will release on July 28 in cinemas near you.
