Premalu Tamil version has finally got its release date. The makers recently confirmed that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies will distribute Naslen, Mamitha Baiju’s film.

Premalu, the romantic comedy which features young actors Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, has now emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam cinema in recent times. The movie, which is helmed by Girish AD, has now entered the Rs. 100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry. After the much-awaited Premalu Telugu version hit the theatres last week, the makers are now set to release the Tamil dubbing version of the film.
Premalu Tamil release date is out
As per the recent updates, the much-awaited Premalu Tamil version is set to hit the theatres on March 15, 2024, Friday. The sources close to the project have confirmed that the Tamil dubbing and censor formalities of Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s much-loved film are already finished. The makers of the romantic comedy are now set to kickstart the promotions of the Tamil version by releasing the official trailer and songs, very soon.
Red Giant Movies to distribute Premalu Tamil
Interestingly, Red Giant Movies, the prestigious Tamil production banner has bagged the worldwide distribution rights of Premalu Tamil. The exciting update was revealed by Dileesh Pothan, the producer of the film, with an Instagram post recently. “Vanakkam TamilNadu, The celebrations gets bigger with Red Giant Movies. Premalu tamil version releasing in theatres from March 15th. Come... let's premalu.!” reads the celebrated actor-filmmaker's post.
Premalu gets an extended run in theatres
With the release of the Premalu Telugu and Tamil versions, it has also been confirmed that Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s film is set to have an extended run in the theatres. In that case, the Girish AD directorial, which has been slated to stream on the popular streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar, might not get its OTT release anytime soon. The trade experts suggest that the romantic comedy now has all the possibilities to cross the Rs. 110 mark at the box office, within its lifetime run.
