Premam Poojyam’s Brinda Acharya’s next is a bilingual female-centric thriller called Juliet 2

Brinda Acharya, who debuted in Kannada cinema last year with Nenapirali Prem’s milestone 25th film Premam Poojyam, is currently working on her next. This time around, the actress is a part of a Kannada-Malayalam bilingual directed by debutant Virat Gowda. A female-centric content-oriented thriller, this will be a two-part project, with the second, Juliet 2, which has the tagline ‘Behind the Dark Door’ to come out first.

Brinda, of course, is thrilled to be a part of the film, in which she plays the title role. Given that it is a mystery thriller, the film was mostly shot at night, in the forests of Kudremukh, which, the actress says, was not easy as it was also raining heavily during their schedule. The actress, we hear, will also be seen doing high-octane action sequences in the Juliet series of films, for which she had to undergo rigorous training for a month before canning the actual stunts. The actress had taken to social media a few days ago to announce details about the film, which will be a 2022 release. “Here she is Juliet!! My next🙏🏻Woman who dares to win, who’s bold, strong and fierce as flames of fire 🔥Be a part of her spine chilling journey this 2022❤️ Juliet2 this 2022,” she wrote, along with the title teaser.

Juliet 2, produced by Likth R Kotian under the Virat Motion Pictures and PL Productions banner, also stars also has Anup Sagar, Kashi, Srikanth and Kush Acharya in pivotal roles. Beside the two Juliet films, Brinda has signed up for another project, which, she says, she will announce shortly. It also remains to be seen if the actress will feature in the proposed Premam Poojyam sequel.
