Pret Boys trailer: This horror-comedy series marks Shardul Pandit’s OTT debut

The trailer of the upcoming horror-comedy web series, titled Pret Boys, has been released. It marks the OTT debut of radio jockey-turned-actor Shardul Pandit.

The story revolves around three friends - Prem, Tatsat and Rajat - who are on a mission to start an app on ghost and paranormal activities, in a bid to bust the myths on horror stories. But eventually, they get attacked by an evil force. The show also features Anchal Munjal, Ritik Ghansani and Ahan Nirban as key characters. 

Aanchal, who is playing the role of Eisha in the series, said, “It was a wonderful experience working with people, who were equally involved in making the show with great enthusiasm. Everyone portrayed their role correctly and beautifully. I am hoping the audience loves watching the show as much as we loved working on it.”

Adding to that, Shardul - who is making his OTT debut, after his stint on television - said, “I was very excited to play a comedy character, because I have done very intense roles on television in the past.”

In the show, he will be seen as Rajat, who is on a mission to find a sponsor for his start-up. Shardul further said, “The director sat me down and explained to me the character. Rajat was his favourite character from the show, and the lines they were writing were best suited for me. That’s how he convinced me to play Rajat.”

Apparently, throughout the show, the actor-director duo kept improvising on the dialogues.

In the past, Shardul has acted in shows like Bandini, Godh Bharaai, Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2 and Siddhi Vinayak, to name a few. The upcoming show Pret Boys is releasing on Amazon miniTV.
