Ever since BTS, the most successful K-pop band in the world, has been put on halt for their mandatory military services, ARMIEs around the world are feeling dimmed without them. They seem to encourage themselves with high hopes for their return, and give some breathing songs once again. Hence, to uplift them, Disney+ Hotstar has brought a special documentary on BTS, which will give you all the information about the band.
This documentary also celebrates the band's decade in the industry. Named as BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, it will show how BTS began their journey and how they have changed and improved over time.
About episode 1 and 2
The documentary was released on December 20 with only two episodes. From electrifying concerts to intimate interviews and raw behind-the-scenes moments, the documentary series puts you in the rollercoaster ride of BTS. The first two episodes have given some pictures of their struggles from label-less beginnings to self-doubt and burnout. The documentary shows each member - RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook grow not just as artists, but as individuals.
Sneak-peeks from episode 3 and 4
On December 22, Hotstar dropped news sneak-peeks from the third episode. In this episode you can expect to get to watch your favourite K-pop band getting ready for their first global conference, and several other world tours. The third and fourth episodes will exhibit the members dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, the isolation, exposing the raw vulnerabilities during those two years.
Episode three and four offer a deeper understanding of the band's resilience, the power of their music to uplift, and the importance of brotherhood in the face of adversity. It will also show the seven members preparing for their first Grammy Award for ‘DYNAMITE' song and second for ‘Butter’ song.
