Prince Trailer: Sivakarthikeyan's romantic comedy helmed by Anudeep KV is a laugh riot

The much-awaited trailer of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming romantic comedy Prince was released today. Sharing the trailer on his social media handle, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "Here is our #PrinceTrailer - https://youtu.be/KHUZsWSwxWM Hope you all like it #Prince #PrinceOnOct21st in theatres #PrinceDiwali @anudeepfilm @maria_ryab @musicthaman @SVCLLP @SureshProdns @ShanthiTalkies (sic)."

Going by the trailer, Sivakarthikeyan plays Anbu, one of the favourite teachers of students in school, who allows students who do not know the answers to copy in the exams. Anbu is also someone who takes the school pledge very seriously that says, 'All Indians are my brothers and sisters' and hence, goes on to fall in love with a foreigner. Ukraine model Maria Ryaboshapka makes her debut in the film industry as Jessica teacher. Sathyaraj plays Sivakarthikeyan's father who preaches equality and is glad that his son fell in love with someone beyond caste, religion and crossed geographical borders outside India. We also get a glimpse of Anandharaj, who plays a policeman with a tinge of humour.

In the meantime, Vijay Deverakonda took to his social media handle, and released the Telugu version of the trailer. The actor wrote that he is a big admirer of Sivakarthikeyan's work and wished the very best. He wrote on his social media handle, "Big admirer and fan of  @Siva_Kartikeyan Anna's journey and work, wishing him, @anudeepfilm and the team of #Prince all the very best for the Grand Diwali release on Oct 21st! The film has music by Thaman. This is the first time that Thaman is scoring music for a Sivakarthikeyan film. The film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Prince is all set to hit screens for Diwali on October 21. The film will clash with Karthi's Sardar, a spy thriller directed by PS Mithran.
