Aadujeevitham and Varshangalkku Shesham clash at the box office?
If the latest updates are to be believed, the long-delayed survival drama Aadujeevitham, which marks the first collaboration of Prithviraj Sukumaran and director Blessy, will get a grand release by the second week of April 2024, coinciding with Vishu festival. Reportedly, the theatre charting of the project has already begun, and the major update on the release date is expected to be out very soon.
Varshangalkku Shesham, the upcoming Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial that stars Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, is also expected to hit the screens during Vishu 2024. In that case, the project, which is touted to be a complete entertainer, will clash with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Blessy’s ambitious project at the box office during the Vishu season. Both the projects have high chances to hit the screens on April 11, 2024.
Other expected Vishu releases
As per the latest updates, a couple of other Malayalam projects, including the upcoming Fahadh Faasil starrer Aavesham, and Unni Mukundan’s Jai Ganesh, might also hit the theatres during the Vishu season of 2024. The reports suggest that the makers of these films have already kickstarted the theatre charting. However, the final list of Vishu releases will only get revealed by the first quarter of 2024.
For the uninitiated, Aavesham, which is touted to be a spin-off to the superhit film Romancham, marks Fahadh Faasil’s first collaboration with director Jithu Madhavan. Jai Ganesh, on the other hand, is helmed by renowned filmmaker Ranjith Sankar. The project, which is touted to be a fantasy drama that comes in the lines of Malikapuram, is bankrolled by leading man Unni himself, under his home banner UMF.
