Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the film Priyan Ottathilanu. Starring Sharafudheen, Nyla Usha, and Aparna Das in the lead roles, the film is directed by Antony Sony Sebastian of ‘C/O Saira Banu’ fame. The makers have now released a trailer of the film and it looks like a fun, feel-good family entertainer.
As the name suggests, the film is about Priyan aka Priyadarshan, played by Sharafudheen, who is always on the run. He is a go-to person for everyone to get the chores done or get any issues resolved. While he attends to everybody's wants, he is unable to find time for his own family. And his helping nature lands him in soup. The trailer does not really explore what happens but he gets into some legal trouble. The clip ends with Priyan speaking over the phone. The caller tells him that the entire state police are after him but he seems chilled out and reassures the person that everything is going to be alright.

His character Priyan is a homeopathy doctor by profession. "He is a man, who is forever busy. He is also a family man whom all of us can relate to,” the director previously shared.
Recently, Aparna Das had shared some details about her character. Speaking to ETimes, she said that she plays a cute and relatable role of a wife in the movie. "Most of us would have come across such a character in our lives. So it's really relatable. I am eagerly waiting,” she said.
Apart from Sharafudheen, Nyla Usha, and Aparna Das, the family drama also features Biju Sopanam, Jaffer Idukki, Uma KP, Asokan, and Harisree Ashokan in the supporting roles.
