Priyank Sharma on ALTBalaji’s Puncch Beat: The show is like our baby

The second instalment of youth drama Puncch Beat is set to release on June 27 on ALTBalaji. The show will have Mirzapur fame Harshita Gaur, former Bigg Boss contestant Priyank Sharma, Siddharth Sharma and Khushi Joshi reprise their roles along with new additions, Samyukta Hegde from Roadies 15 and Anuj Choudhary.

On the show, Priyank, who plays the protagonist Rahat, says in a statement, “Puncch Beat Season 1 was my debut as an actor, and I believe that the show is like our baby. I have a lot of emotions attached to the project. Along with emotions, a lot of expectation is also there because season 1 worked beautifully for me as an actor.”

Talking about his experience, he adds, “I was raw at that time and I was completely naïve as an actor. I had no experience at all, like how to face the camera and such. Season 2, on the other hand, was again a lot of learning experience for me. However, this time I won't say that I was raw. I was a lot more trained as an actor.”

Meanwhile, Anuj, who will be seen playing a police officer in season 2, talked about his character in a statement from the streamer: “He has come to Rosewood High to investigate a case that will change the entire story in the season. He always thinks there’s more than what meets the eye. And his camaraderie with his subordinate Rathore is something people should wait and watch.”
