Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary out, Sumbul Touqeer Khan returns as Bigg Boss 16 Queen of the Week

Sumbul Touqeer Khan is back as Bigg Boss 16 Queen of the Week. This happens weeks after Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary constantly held the title. The baton passing on, however, does not come as a surprise since Sumbul was more visible this week than Priyanka.

Tina Datta was the gamechanger for the week. Her eviction and re-entry shifted the focus from Priyanka to Sumbul.

When Tina was evicted from Bigg Boss 16 because of Shalin Bhanot and returned on the show again because of him, she ensured to make him feel like he doesn’t care about her. Thus, Tina started siding with Sumbul – a sight nobody (definitely not Shalin) expected.

Surprisingly, Priyanka was siding with Shalin at that point of time. She has grown close to Shalin over the past few days and when Tina re-entered, Priyanka faced Tina’s wrath. Tina taunted Shalin for dancing with Priyanka after her exit.

Sumbul’s fans took the opportunity and convinced people that Sumbul was always right. Tina siding with Sumbul took the latter’s popularity on a whole new level.

Sumbul was also in spotlight recently because her ‘friend’ Sajid Khan warned Abdu Rozik to not trust her. Sajid fearing Sumbul’s game has also come as a motivation for the fans.

Meanwhile, Priyanka hogged the limelight for her massive fight with Archana Gautam. When Archana called Priyanka ‘teri jasi ladki’ and ‘kutte jaisi bhaunkti hai,’ the two broke into a massive fight. Despite it all, Priyanka went to Archana, apologized and sorted out the matter maturely. In fact, earlier in the day too, despite their exchange of heated words, Priyanka asked Archana to take the poha she prepared because they were apparently delicious.

Social media went abuzz with Priyanka’s gestures on the episode. However, since it was in a new week, Sumbul managed to replace Priyanka as Queen of the Week in the previous week of the show.
