Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta FINALLY break silence on wedding rumours: Hum dono aapko aise ache nhi lagte?

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta first wowed viewers with their smokin' chemistry in the television series Udariyaan. Later, as they appeared in the Salman Khan hosted show, Bigg Boss 16, audience couldn't get enough of their chemistry. The duo, though, has consistently stated that they are merely friends. Fans speculated that Priyanka got engaged to Ankit Gupta after she recently posted a photo of herself holding a stunning ring on social media. Ankit and Priyanka at last spoke up in response to this.

Recently, Priyanka posted a photo on Instagram showing off her diamond ring. Not only that, but she added the caption "It's a Yes!" to the picture. However, it later turned out that it was a brand collaboration. Fans, though, were excited by the statement and the picture as they thought it is an announcement of their engagement. 

Ankit was questioned about the proposal shortly after Priyanka's comment area was flooded with responses from fans. Ankit Gupta responded, “Main to humesha yahi bolta hu ki hum dono aapko aise ache nhi lagte? Kitne khush rehte hain. Kya shaadi shaadi?"

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary also reacted on the same and commented, “PriyAnkit fans and humare jitne bhi fans hain, they were quite happy with the ring pic but unhone shayad baad me caption padha hoga. But we are very good friends guys and that is it.”

After appearing in the television show Udaariyaan, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta became well-known names. Together, the two then entered season 16 of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss. Priyanka went on to become one of the finalists, whereas Ankit was eliminated a few weeks prior to the finale.
