On March 14, Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas (who is also the most followed female Instagrammer in India) and her daughter Malti Marie arrived in India for some professional engagements. On March 18, Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, joined his family for an India tour. While they have continued to grab headlines for the past few days, the latest development is linked to their precious family time. The celebrity couple and their daughter Malti made a quick visit to the divine Ayodhya Ram Mandir temple in Uttar Pradesh this afternoon.
Priyanka Chopra offers prayers at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya with her family
Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, and Malti Marie landed at the Ayodhya airport this afternoon and headed to the Ram Mandir Temple under heavy security. Priyanka’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, was also present with them.
All of them were in traditional Indian attire. While Nick wore a cream sherwani, Priyanka and her mother opted for traditional sarees. Cute 2-year-old Malti was dressed in a frock.
Even though they were surrounded by heavy security, shutterbugs managed to capture the family together. And the pictures have gone viral.
One social media user took to the microblogging site X to post, “Glad to see Priyanka staying true to her roots despite settling down in the US.”

Notably, the consecration of the Ram Mandir was held at Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
