Priyanka Chopra on attaining success in Hollywood: Have no qualms about walking into the room and showing people my work

Why didn't other Indian stars follow suit? Priyanka Chopra Jonas claims that she is frequently questioned about this and does not have a quick response to it other than the fact that she left the burden of being a Bollywood star behind when she moved to the West. The former Miss World, who is likely the first well-known Indian actor to succeed in the American entertainment business, currently stars in the international spy drama Citadel.

Priyanka told PTI that she frequently gets the question, "Why haven't others done it?" Why haven't other Indian performers broken as much as she has? The actor doesn't know the answer to it. All she knows is that the one thing she did, which may have contributed to it, was not bring her baggage.

PeeCee continued by saying that she is from India, a major star over here, and she has a 20-person entourage. That's not what she does there. The actor will perform a test run. She has no problem entering the room and introducing herself to the audience. Priyanka has no fear of her work. She doesn't have any pride or ego.

Around 2011–2012, at the height of her career in the Hindi film industry, the 40-year-old decided to explore Hollywood. She made her singing debut with the song In My City and then appeared as the lead in the American TV series Quantico and as the antagonist in the movie Baywatch. She most recently appeared with Keanu Reeves in The Matrix Resurrections.

The actor claimed that it took her eight years of developing her credibility through smaller roles and movies for her to finally be in a position where she is getting opportunities with big names like The Matrix creators Lana and Lilly Wachowski and Avengers team Joe and Anthony Russo, who have produced Citadel.

Priyanka has had a lengthy career as a leading lady, whether it be in Bollywood or Hollywood. She thinks she is a leading lady. The journey there is lengthy, and to be able to play starring roles, it took her around eight years of hard labour in Hollywood.

Start with smaller roles and movies and establish your credibility, according to Priyanka, because the nature of the beast that is the entertainment industry is the same whether it is in Hollywood or Bollywood.
